Why Should Your Baseball or Softball Team Play at SLCAA???
-
Our teams will continue to experience different parks and tiered competition.
-
The County Tournament will be open to SLCAA teams only.
-
We will continue to provide high quality fields and reasonable concessions.
-
For more than 28 years our member associations have operated as non-profit volunteer organizations.
-
We plan to continue to enhance our softball and baseball programs to meet the needs of all teams (recreational and select).
-
The International Baseball Association (IBA) recognizes our association as one of the best programs in the country and allows us to send teams to Japan and Australia to play in the World Games. They also send teams to our county parks.
SLCAA was established on November 30, 1977 through the joint efforts of seven charter members associations: Ballwin, Chesterfield, Creve Coeur, Ellisville, Manchester, Pond and Valley Park (formerly known as the Lafayette Athletic Association). SLCAA presently has seven member associations with the additions of Eureka in 1981 and Pacific in 1982.
Together the member associations provide a unified baseball and softball program for boys and girls of all age groups in the West St. Louis County area.
